Dragging on
Good Grief, 3 more inches of snow and a high today of 2, - 13 tonight, windchill is obscene. Gonna camp out near the woodstove with Soul-O.
Wind reminded me. I rummaged through the closet. Some of you remember the Wind Robe, I have videos about that but I will have to find them first. I wore it as a layer today, silk is thin but warm. I noticed the icicles. Never finished. I’ll get back to them.
A February Stray Self emerged.
I wanted to try the knotted heart again, and I added some icicles. Weathering Storms I called it. Keeping the fire burning, listening for spring, in between snowfalls, ragged and patched but still standing.
The front door was frozen shut this morning. I had to go out through the back porch. Drifts, higher than my boots. But I had to feed the birds. They were waiting…
I am going to return to the moon schedule for the jude hill shop, clothworks and paperworks. New Moon and Full Moon.
ThreadCrumbs, the supply shop, mostly loose indigo dyed patches and scraps, is updated now and then…however that happens…and as time allows.

Hoping for no more snow.
We don't have any snow, nor anything like your level of cold here in the English Midlands, but it's been raining and raining for weeks. Everything is soggy and muddy and the sky is consistently grey, like living inside a Tupperware box - no shadows. The house has damp patches and the fight against mould is constant. But the snowdrops are here and spring can't be too long now, can it?
Love the icicles on the Wind Robe. I remember it. I love snow, but yeah, it's enough. I don't mind a couple of inches more here or there, but we really have plenty at the moment. :)
