A similar plan here-to write them. Love these so much, and being useful.

I love these so much. I see you mentioned they are made of 'Heavy recycled paper for now'...I was trying to figure that out from the pics because they really do look cloth like. A perfect keeper of magic thread (and others of course!)

I love that you will be close to family and wow...so much land! Awesome!

Love the little keepers. How wonderful to celebrate the quotidian. Where do you get this wonderful magic thread or do you make it?

May your nesting phase in the new house be better every day.

When I was young I wanted to be a librarian or a dancer on a show like Red Skelton :) Life happened. A good life.

The tread is actually a weaving yarn I helped engineer when I worked in the textile industry. Leftover. Not available anywhere. It would be too costly to manufacture these days.

It is very special. I have tried "cording" and various means and types of thread to make it by hand which is definitely the slow way to do it. :)

Thanks.

Hello... does your new home have an upstairs? I love the surroundings and how the home calls out and is welcoming! Love the surroundings ..do you have neighbors near by? Sorry for so many questions ..you have chosen a peaceful location!

Yes, it has 2 levels but an open plan.

18 acres, sandwiched between 2 farms, about a mile from my son and family.

Strolling distance. Perfect. Wishing you all the good things dear Jude xxx

Love this! Yes, purposeful. With the children (at work) we call it "meaningful work." That they know that they can contribute and participate. :)
