picturing u in a big ol' truck, wearin' the bird robe 'n those new walkin' shoes of yours 'n that eye 9-patch hangin' from the rear view mirror... hey ho!
So glad that you were going slow, that you are okay. This is where I'll confess that after about 4 years of driving again, I still haven't gotten on the freeway. And honestly, I probably shouldn't. If I need to get somewhere in a hurry I'll just have to figure it out. And the figuring it out...it can be so overwhelming sometimes but it always seems to work out somehow.
Glad you are ok. I spend two months every year alone and it is amazing how much I get done without depending/waiting on someone else. It's these annoying days that make us stronger, at least that's what I tell myself.
When I first got my licence my folks timed me changing a tyre and said they wouldn’t let me out alone unless I could do it in under 7 minutes. That was all well and good fifty years ago.
These days it takes me that long to liberate the tools from their fancy storage compartment, and don’t start me on the effort needed to undo mechanically tightened bolts!!
at almost 74 I've suddenly taken a big interest in learning to keep my cool. I helps a lot. It's an important tool. I need to get me a big ol' truck... I'm moving to nowheresville.
Every new phase of life requires another, dare I say bigger, pair of panties to put on. And we do because we have to. Good job, Jude, handling the situation with grace...and a gorgeous nine patch, to boot. That eye!!!!
Sending support in any way it can help what you are going through.
I CARE and love my new work
❤️
That's a major tire failure. Never ever saw one like that. Happy you are okay.
It was wild really.
Love the eye! And aaargh your tire! I just had that experience too…no fun but fixable right? Onward!
Yes, the rim was ok.
That was a right old shred! Glad you are safe !

yeah, I know what you mean. Besides, you just do what you need to do. And that changes all the time.
Yikes, that is quite a blowout! Glad you're ok.
wild!
So glad you are ok and going 20 mph. The eye and the 9 patch… very reassuring.
Glad you’re ok. That tire looks awful. I always say, Onward and Upward! Be well !

well alone as a choice and alone without choice are 2 different things. getting a lot of things done but not what has been expected.
I agree. I'm not alone by my choice for the two months.
Don't have a clue why this is here twice -- it's not that important.
I am not seeing it twice.

That’s a faulty tyre! Hope you get it replaced for free… it shouldn’t have shredded like that! The 9 patch is centering, especially with the eye ❤️
What a freakin’ bummer.
yeah
Holy cow!! Some new tire, eh? Geez.
I'm super grateful that you are okay and I hope they replaced that tire for you, if need be.
The eye color is so pretty.
yeah, I took care have everything fishy replaced knowing that all the driving was coming.
that's life I guess.
it felt good just to do a bit of stitching
