Your photography is amazing, I know I've said that almost every time I post! I remember the first time I ever saw your work, it was a similar piece with the handstitches showing on the front. I was blown away! This is just beautiful. I'm doing a hand pieced quilt myself where I am using indigo thread on raw linen.
I'm a new subscriber so I haven't seen many of your posts. But I just wanted to say, are you doing ok? I hope in this very hard winter, you have friends and/or family nearby for emotional support.Sorry, if this comment feels inappropriate. I really love and appreciate your work.
Thank you for keeping me sane during these dark times. And yes, you can and should feed the birds during the severe cold. They cannot forage when this much snow and cold. ❤️
I like how you are in the middle of winter, in the middle of nowhere ( seems like it), just going....spreading hearts and sanity. To me this one has the colors and simplicity of a winter landscape.
Stunning how the translucent quality here captures both fragility and persistence. The idea of calling it done but not quite being sure mirrors how I feel bout alot of my own work from that era. Maybe theres somthing beautiful in leaving certain things unresolved, letting them breathe as they are.
Jude~ I'm sitting with the 'maybe it's done' comment. The cloth or finding sanity? I love all of the space in this one and the soft, gentle color. Simple works. xo
I'm drawn into this simplicity of style you used in this "yesterdays heart". I remember the Sanity Series. It's well named, keeping things simple in this complex whirrl of a world.

Dear Jude,

And yes, tomorrow.....
Maybe sanity is like season.
Beautiful 🤍🤍🤍
A place to rest...

I rarely finish anything, I just make peace with it for the moment m.

The cloth, sanity is too elusive.
yes.
a heart came to me today, i'm passing it on. that's what you do.
🤎
Low light is always a good choice for examining sanity!
This one is quite see through. I think the sun will be out tomorrow, a curtain then, at least for a day.
my sanity is always safer when viewed on low light! Ha!
haha

Time to gather these old works and see where I'm at...
"Yesterday is history
Tomorrow ia a myster
But today is a gift
That's why it is called the 'present'"
