Here. Nine (my safety net) for Darkness and then Lightness.
I think to myself again, how they depend on each other.
I have used sanity as a symbol for some personal sense of rational thought which might be expanded to include a common sense. No normal or abnormal, but simply practical, useful. Like a building block. The ultimate component for going, growing.
I use it as a reminder to find a simple solution. To the liquid puzzle. Over and over.
My Sanity Series has to do with that, holding on to a simply useful state of mind. And therefore a place of personal peace. And then, of course, an offering to that.
I have not shared most of the series. It has remained in the background, but it might be time for a little more of it I think.
It’s so much about light and dark. And balance.
This morning there was another nine…
Nine for a bit of warmth moving through on a cold November day. That’s the way I was feeling. A kind of moving toward a new sense of sanity. And continuing.
Do you think you will miss the stone wall?? It gives a very grounded feeling for the property.
So many new things to enjoy as you move into your new home!
Sure that all of us that follow will love the words you use to express your connection to the new place.
The second pic, the lighting reminded me of my MUG SHOTS. lol How much Sanity is needed to fill the mug? lol
The 9 for a November Day is just the right color tones to express your chill. It got me picturing an 9 a day series, and then quilt...all those days of just going strung together. Thanks for this imagining.
