I’m interested in subscribing to the not forever zone, but I can’t seem to find a link and I can’t get in on the not forever zone even though I have a an account with WordPress but your specific blog does not accept my WordPress password so please help thanks
Perhaps you could frame a cubby hole at the base near the center of the pile.. she would have a private shelter. It might need a sturdy physical frame to support the stack to prevent collapse.
yes, I am thinking about that, I have a fairly strong wooden box that might work. there is a big overhang on the shed so she would be protected from rain.
loads and loads of wood has its good and bad aspects. Ha, like most things.
Aw! Poor Loosey, but hurray for winter wood! Right now, our focus here is keeping cool and providing cooling (shade, water, air-flow) for our outside kitties and all the lil critters that have a home here... yesterday I made a puddle for a traveling box turtle ☺️
Yes, two here, another 3 scattered around in smaller piles. A lot of stacking and hauling but I'm set for winter and then some. Sharing some with neighbors.
Ack! Such a large task…though you seem to have the sense of it, my friend! Were we there to assist, we’d happily roll up our sleeves!
I imagine the contentedly embering fires this winter will be gratefully rewarding for the foresight…not to mention the cozy toes and hearth-warmed purrs…

I received your inquiry and sent you an email, I hope you received it.
I think you sent me an email a while back with this question and I responded, maybe it went to spam?
Anyway, the Forever Zone is a paid access teaching sharing thing, it is listed in the shop.

Excessive heat warning today. Yeehaw.
It's good to get an early start. I've been putting peanut out on the old stumps. The squirrels are burying them. They know how to be prepared.
The heat has subsided here. It's rain and storms that hover here.
The squirrels here are tearing into every green pinecone they can grab off the lone pine!
Yes, they do know how to forage...
2 cords? Happy stacking! And, Loosey does look a bit confused :)

That's a good feeling! I have to wait until early October for my wood, or the truck goes over my garden. Possibly, I should move those plants, ha!
yeah, I got used to the traffic through to maintain this place, there is a clear path to everything.
I will call for her to come in she needs your love wyonne
Seems I need her's as well.
Loosey looks like she would love to have a quilt of her very own. Maybe even with her name on it!
I think so, maybe wool.
Loosey is my kind of girl!
ha!
Oooooh…
👋
Jude~ Now, that is some pile of wood!! A closer shot of Loosey...she is so pretty.
And that’s half.
She is, with her serious stare

I have adjusted to this woodburning thing... somehow I can do it.
In the picture, it looks like Miss Kitty may be PG??
pregnant? I don't think so... please no.....
I really couldn’t see, it could have been the grass that made her look “heavy”…yes, I also hope she isn’t.
what is PG?
We'd love to help you with that pile. What a feeling of abundance a well stocked wood shed gives.
A quilt for Loosey sounds purrfect 🐈 Is she coming close now? She has chosen wisely 💚
it's nice to be prepared, last winter was ridiculously cold.
She is following me.
You really are a cat, (and cloth), whisperer . Ha! 🙌
I love so much about this post. 💜💗💕
Just living and loving can be enough..
You can translate Looseys glare I love it!!!
She's too funny
that pile of wood reminds me of fabric scraps, waiting to be assembled. loosey's found her mama!
Wish I had a big enough basket.
OMG, that’s a good-sized pile. Wish I was closer, I’d come help stack that!
And I would accept!
