From Whispering Hearts…So what if knots could form the edge? Left exposed, they could be both functional and decorative. I always like that idea. So I tried a few things.

I really like this way of celebrating the inner working of something. And in

the context of a heart, well I was heart storming again:

A heart turned inside out .

A heart’s edge is a tangle.

A heart defined by loose ends.

I love you, I love you knot. Ha!

I made a new one today. Deb’s beautiful hand dyed thread…

I’ll make more, play a bit.

This was another old one…

Two strands of yellow cotton floss on hand dyed indigo cotton lawn. (basted

invisibly to another piece of cotton lawn) The heart shape drawn in pencil

which seemed to wear off and almost disappear as I was stitching.

I’m thinking today. A warm heart might be like the sun.

The sun was out today.

The pond is over the hill, hard to get to right now. I should try.
