So here I am again.
Most of you may have been following my story elsewhere. Or maybe not. Not really sure who is following here. Anyway…
Things have changed. I am single. I am moving, I want to keep moving and so I have moved my Life and Story blogging here, leaving my WordPress site as the teaching/ private page place.
And so, I imagined a house, deep in the woods. And even at 73 years old, I imagined living there. And now I will be living there. I am still in between, and hope to be there full time by Thanksgiving. Yes, it is round. It is a cordwood structure, if you are familiar. The first firewood delivery has been made. Leaves are falling and the longer view has begun to emerge. I’ll be closer to family and I hope to be weaving more. I look forward to sharing this new adventure. I thank you all who have followed my path here.
This is just a post to let you know I am fine and just going and I want to make sure I can remember how post here.
I will begin/ resume my posting soon enough. I will share my story, my work, post shop updates and link to new teaching content whenever that happens if you have signed up for the Forever Zone. A lot of things are changing and I will try to make things clear. Clear, I say to myself. As I age, well, I need more light to stitch, and driving at night is not good with these old eyes. But these old eyes are much better at seeing bullshit more clearly. So Yay!
It's wonderful to be following you here, many blessings to you in your new home. I look forward to seeing how your story continues to unfold.
Good for you, Jude! I'm 83, and made a huge change this year: new home, new living conditions, exploring a broader area of my art practice. The adventures continue! All blessings to you, wishing you peace and joy and being installed in your comfy nest before winter sets in. I'm so glad to still be following your posts after all these years, though my presence is sometimes sporadic.
