I suspect Rabbit would probably stand before your lovely gazing cloth for quite some time without saying a word.

Bear, eventually, might ask,

“What do you see?”

Rabbit would smile.

“Not yet.”

Because a gazing cloth isn’t asking for an answer.

It’s asking for company.

We got about 2", last I checked. Rhu didn't even ask to go out today. Very unusual! Nice evening now, though.

Our weather has been typically hot and humid. For excitement there was a 2.6 earthquake within a few miles of the house today.

A "gazing cloth" makes me think of scrying in a basin of water ... what words or thoughts might it hold and be willing to share. So glad to see the sun (in the cloth) and here in the sky in (hot) southeastern Tennessee.

yes, something like that

Oppressive heat & humidity, hoping for a little rain (not a deluge, thank you)

I actually picked up a needle, thread & cloth yesterday and hemmed a small pointed flag. I might make another...

Tired lately ...can't imagine "why"...hah

Looks like your jungle is happy with the rain! 💚

yeah, everything is exhausting.

yes, can't even see the pond.

All that green… I want to be in it! We could use some rain.

And yes. Old eyes like quality light! 🌞

Jude Hill's avatar

Yeah, I'm not complaining. Just resting in it.

Jude~ Wow! Your green is electric! It shimmers!! Love watching the cloth spin and grow. When my son was a baby, my ex would comment on how he had a great "galaxy" - that spinning part of his hair, back of his head. I always thought that was so sweet. And he did have a great galaxy!

Jude Hill's avatar

It's a jungle here right now.

I am imagining that galaxy.

That is a stunning cloth! I am barely surviving here. That sounds like an exaggeration, but it's how I feel. 100+ degrees, day after day after day. And my psoriatic arthritis is tearing me up. I want to sleep all day, but that is counterproductive. I need energy. My sweet daughter is helping me through this. Perhaps I shouldn't post until I have something positive to share...Your posts are a light in my darkness.

truth is worth sharing

I so enjoy seeing photos of your world and always a look at what you are putting the neeedle to. Happy days ahead, and hopefully the smake will diminish. We have it here also,, cannot even see the mountains surrounding the Missoula Valley, Some rain here would definitely be a blessing.
